Mr. Walters

Thank you for contacting the University of Washington regarding linking to our Master's of Strategic Planning for Critical Infrastructures (MSPCI).

Yes, it would be ok to link to our degree program.

The URL is

http://www.mspci.washington.edu

You may also want to link to the related certificate program Critical Infrastructure Protection

www.extension.washington.edu/ext/certificates/cip/cip_gen.asp).

Both programs are offered totally online, so someone may earn their master's degree or certificate from anywhere they like.

Best regards, D.Harper | Asst. Director of Marketing | University of Washington

Hello!

I was just scrolling through the Kittitas County link you provided and about midway on the left hand side saw that you list Jane Gutting (and a link to her e-mail address) as the superintendent for the Kittitas School District. The name of Kittitas superintendent is Jerry Harding. Jane Gutting is the superintendent of ESD 105, which is just above the Kittitas School District info on that page.

Also, the school listing is missing the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District as well as info about Kittitas High School. The Thorp School District information should be centered like the other districts so it doesnt appear to be part of the Kittitas School District.

A couple of other points: The second phone number you list for ESD 105 (509-575-2918) is actually our FAX number. Also, I saw some inconsistencies in the schools section on how phone numbers were listed a missing parenthesis here and there, a few uses of periods instead of hyphens/parenthesis, missing spaces, etc.

Dear Mr. Walters,

The Superintendent has requested me to respond to your request. It appears that your site has a legitimate use for users to find information about our schools. Based on that, we are okay with the links you have established to our individual school web sites.

Answer [Question #1056686]

Hello Chris Walters

Librarian 1: Thank you, Chris, for the explanation. I don't think the Libraries could use such a CD. A website that provided the same information might be something we would link to. To be useful, the CD would have to be updated quite often, and would therefore mean more maintenance for our IT people. The campus web site is overseen by Computing & Communications. You can offer the information to them by using one of the contact points listed on this web page:
Good luck with your project.

Also, Vancouver School of Arts and Academics is currently listed as a middle school, but it serves grades 6-12. Thanks.

Thanks for the link. The only thing I would change is the address that you point to. On entrance to the Shelton School District Website I have some code that directs the user to the appropriate home page based on their computers screen resolution. home3.htm is great for monitors that can display the resolution needed for that particular page. Depending on the resolution users are redirected to home1.htm, home2.htm or home3.htm. Making the link go to www.sheltonschools.org will let the users computer pick the best homepage for their computer.
